This is my point.

yeah, one of the few times i actually agree with you…

Please do not forget the TSU 1999 OVC championship squad that was derailed by a late hit and other injuries.........

If/when you disagree with me, it's out of blind MEAC pride or simply for the sake of disagreement. I may not always be right, but I ain't never wrong. Laugh

The thread had little to nothing to do with smack. Just an excuse to hide vital info, insight and the history pertaining to certain schools not in the MEAC.

Dude, this is mythical mumbo jumbo. The Sheridan Poll is a joke. This is the ONLY poll that doesn't distinguish between opponents, whether they're D-1A, D-1AA or D-2. It only considers a schools record, not the quality of the opponent. That's ludricous and very elementary.

Say for instance Grambling plays ten D-1AA schools and Washington State (a D-1A school); It loses to Washington State and finishes with a 10-1 record. On the other hand, say Tuskegee plays ten D-2 schools and one D-1AA school and goes 11-0. Guess who gets the "trophy"? You got it, Tuskegee.

The Sheridan poll is an embarassment to Black people.

Slim,

If BJ was not the OC, why was he not on the sideline? He was the first head coach that i know who was in the press box. JJ was OC in paycheck only. If he really was the OC why didn't he get a head coaching job after FAMU?

Don't know how long you have been following CSU. I attended every home and classic game from 84-95, and around 75% of the road games. Trust me. Jimmy Joe was OC in name only. BJ made all of the offensive calls.

Think about it. From 83-93 Central only lost 18 games. Winning at least 10 games 8 times during that span. How does the OC not get a head coaching job? Easy he's really not the OC.

James Woody did an excellent job coordinating Central State in 1995, Tuskegee 96-06 and Jackson State.. Woody hasn't yet got head coaching gig either..

And the same could be said about Alzono Lee and former FAMU assistant Allen Bogan..

True, but the Mid-Major Black National Title only included DivII HBCU's, and the SBN National Black Championship includes ALL HBCU's.
