If he is pre-disposed to live a "thug life", how will being at an HBCU help him? How many consecutive mistakes must he make before the light bulb comes on?

listening to the Mike Tirico show coming back from lunchtime errands.......Scot Van Pelt was co- host w/Michelle Tafoya. He had ESPN Coll. Football Joe Schaad and some other guy (covers Saints.com and Louisiana sports). Gave history of Perrillouxs' problems and mentioned the FCS/1-AA route as an alternative to keep 2 years of eligibility:
Names that popped up:
App. State (2nd hand/3rd hand info, supposedly out of Perrilloux's mouth)
Alabama State (from Schaad's mouth, may mean nothing, think he was being flip)
Grambling (from other guys mouth, mentioned that unfounded rumors about his transfer to Gram came up when he 1st started getting in trouble a couple of years back)

This knucklehead, like that 7 year old that jacked his g-ma's car, needs his butt whipped. Not only that, he needs to keep his butt out of football.

If he goes to a 1-AA program, all that will do is show that other knuckleheads can screw up many, many times and look to these programs to keep giving them as many chances they need to get to the NFL so they can royally screw up.

Call Hampton. They're giving out at least 4 or 5 chances.

Toally agree...

HBCU's need to put a moratorium on serving to be a stopgap for a few muggz who f*** up in the circus they chose to perform for, and now only look at us as a last resort.

I'm not saying we turn away every cat out here cold turkey, but like WCA stated above, at some point we need to show that we are NOT always there to serve as that post-f***up saviour that will get them to where they want to go. Continuing to do so only cheapens the value of what some of us are trying to accomplish, as well as slaps some of the kids who have chosen to take our route from Day One square in the mugg.

This kid's problems are beyond football - and LSU - so he needs to get his s*** together before being in ANYbody's uniform.

Yes, but we must be able to rehabilitate them. Therein lies why you were rejected.

No sense in fighting it. Hampton is better and you all know it that's why you all are always trying to tear us down.

There is no way he ends up at App st. Edwards is their man. I know this kid ain't going to be no backup again. I would love to have him in the boro but we know that ain't happening. Some SWAC school is going to be real lucky.

Can u imagine if he ends up at TX Southern with Cole

TX Southern already has the guy that transferred from OK State...

You remember the QB that OSU's coach supposedly "defended" against the media saying, "criticize me. I'm a Man!"
