Jones and Kelli White haven't been on the scene doing anything noteworthy since 2003. The sport has moved on, maybe the casual fan hasn't. It's hard to even put Kelli White in the same league to say dominated because it was only the 2003 World Championships where she won two golds. Since then, we've had 2 World Championships and an Olympics where many US black females stepped up including Richards, Felix, Lauryn Williams and more. Additionally, Jones was convicted in the court of promoters and marketers a few years ago when they stopped inviting her to meets in Europe and all the advertising agencies basically dropped her. Internationally, the world endorsed Felix and Richards in 2007 as two of the biggest superstars. I'd have to say I disagree with you on all points but that the person that doesn't follow the sport regularly will hold a skeptical eye.
