I may be late or I may have fallen off the bus, but I've never seen this logo!
Have you ever wanted to get suited up for an alumni event or better yet a sporting event and could never find any HBCU gear to wear? The logo above proves to me that at least Hampton has thought about marketing their brand. There are dozens of stores that have specialization in NCAA teams, NCAA conferences, or the hottest teams in the nation. (Ex. THE CONFERENCE STORE, Greensboro, NC) check it out below!!!!!! http://www.theconferencestore.com/ Yet, the wildest thing is when you go to a HBCU game you can find bootleggers galore and people shopping buy discolored and cartoonish looking T-shirts promoting the games. Could you image a store with quality items that you would not have to go on campus to get? People remember that in some states you can’t but from the bookstore online if you are not an alumnus...North Carolina. Even worse, when you find a store that sells HBCU apparel they only have four schools (Howard, Grambling, Southern, and Morehouse) some times if you are lucky the store will have Jackson State or Tennessee State at five to ten times the cost at similar majority stores. I have an ideal.....can the commissioners and presidents of the four HBCU conferences plus TnSU join together and create an HBCU store in Atlanta with apparel and other items in one location (Atlanta, GA) with online shopping capabilities to market their brands. Honestly, I'll settle just for the division one schools. P.S. Hey Mods the logo should be an option for the Hampton ladies of the board. _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ http://www.tnstate.edu/ "Success is to be measured not so much by the position that one has reached in life as by the obstacles which he has overcome while trying to succeed." -B.T. bruh, you preaching to the choir, leading the ushers down the aisle, and passing out communion.
I think Morgan State used the same firm (Rickbaugh Graphics) for their logo redesign a few years ago. Actually, FAMU had a redesigned logo by the same firm (when Dr. Gainous was prez) but it went out the door with him, and some folks weren't feelin' it (or him Now, interesting that you would put the all-HBCU paraphernalia store in ATL.........because I thought one of the supposed benefits of our conf. level deal for uniforms with Russell Athletic (HQ in ATL) was increased availability of 'nalia to the general public. Apparently, that hasn't happened (or hasn't happened to the degree that we expected). _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ |

I also like the alternate logo for womens sports. I am sure there are more, but prior to you showing the HiU Lady Pirates, the only ones I had seen before were the Tennessee Lady Vols and Florida State Lady Seminoles.

Two things:
1. That Lady Vols Logo is a beast. The money UTK's womens athletic generate with its own gear, license plate, etc is phenomenal. http://utladyvols.com/home/ circa 1983-Present 2. Stop it Thrilla, you know that's from your private club/website and has nothing to do with A&T "officially".
