NEITHER ONE has a shot, stupid. Just like the second place team in the Big Ten WATCH the national title game just like the 8th place team in the WAC did. The third place team in the OVC doesn't go to the playoffs and if you think the OVC is a three bid league then I feel sorry for you.

But maybe the ice is colder in the OVC. You do alot of flying so your probably know.

I was told that JvSU is transitioning to FCS next year...so if that's true...then maybe that was his rationale (ie FCS is a greater platform for NFL exposure)

LOL... yeah right Jax State cant fill up its 14,000 seat stadium unless A&M is playing there. Everytime AAMU plays there it is a stadium record. The average about 10,000 fans.

as a condition of being on the LSU payroll or risk being outed...you go where thet tell you to...

that kid puts HBCUs (especially the high profile ones in Louisiana) in a different light if he is successful and wins big....then LSU has to deal with him a few hours away and risks sharing the local spotlight with the HBCU that now becomes a media magnet like them

Jacksonville State is far enough from LSU and a blip on the national radar..plus, they were willing to participate in the "deal" which was already done as soon as he was released...when the moms is cornered, they'll believe anything da white man says

that 4 qb stuff is bogus....he was going to start anywhere he enrolled at....

My bad I meant FBS...and if JvSU is averaging 10K per game in a 14K stadium...then that's not too bad...actually that's better than most HBCUs in D1AA...To my understanding it's not a requirement for all your home games to be sold out in order to elevate to D1A...

HBCU Presidents are somewhat conservative when it comes to grabbing problem childs. PWC's don't give a rats azz!!

Of course there is one HBCU Prez who will "hug a thug".

Seriously, I believe there is less begging done by AD's and players to get these kids in their programs. It's more important that this guy gets his life together and try to complete his education. That is a message we drive home with out athletes. This guy sounds like he's got a little Xavier Lee in him.

Either way it's got to be a tremendous letdown for him. Going from being the starting QB for the reigning national champs to JaxState......ouch!
