I know I recently wrote that Chris Paul deserves the MVP, but the Hornets appear to be slipping a bit while the Lakers are still surging. Besides, if Kobe doesn't win it this year, he may go down as the greatest player to never win an MVP. That's as bad as giving Steve Nash two MVPs.

Hill didn't know what the heck she was talking about when she first made that stupid comment on the Cold Pizza show while arguing with Skip Bayless. Bayless argued that Kobe was the MVP and Hill debated on Paul's behalf. Now, instead of just looking like a crow, she's eating it.

I had Paul as the favorite but based on the last 1 1/2 weeks of the season I think Kobe may have pulled ahead.

the writers are going to give it to Paul. Did you not see his performance against the Mav's diring the the first two games of their series???

Dude went for 30pts & 20assists in those games.

The writers can't give Paul or Kobe the MVP based on playoff performances. All the writers had to submit their votes prior to the end of the regular season.

You're strecthing it a bit. The assist and evaluation period. the playoffs don't count.

When have the Mavs ever defended well. Is this not the same team burned for 81 or was that Denver? At any rate, the Mavs are know for NOT playing defense.
