I talked to the Colts scout this season over at a CAU game. Johnson had a good game but what he liked most about the kid was his size. He couldn't believe how lean Johnson was. His first comment was that kid could pack on another 25 lbs and be a beast of a rush end/drop end at 275 lbs. I can't disagree. Even if Johnson doesn't make the squad the first year look for the Colts to keep him on the PS while he bulks up. Right now at 250 lbs OT would eat him up but after a few good meals to fill out his 32-33 waist he could be something to watch.

Teams draft guys they believe other teams have an interest in taking. Many believe that most HBCU products are projects and will be available as FAs.

Ummmm....

Brian Johnson 188-322 (58.4 percent), 2212 yards, 21 touchdowns, and 8 INTs.

Casey Hansen 164-310 (52.9 percent), 2111 yards, 9 touchdowns, and 8 INTs.


Brian Johnson while not the greatest QB EVER, led THIS conference in Touchdowns passes, completions, completion percentage, and total offense and he ranked HIGH in other categories as well.


But I do wish Hansen well at the next level.

What ever take it how you want. Oh and about the stat thing....sometimes stats do not define talent. NSU's offense was the weakest and most in experienced in the league last year.. they had 2 players Hansen and Jones! Without either of them NSU would have been in the bottom of the league!
