In collaboration with the National Center for Black Philanthropy, Associated Black Charities will host the Mid-Atlantic Regional Conference on Black Philanthropy. The conference will feature inspiring speakers, exciting sessions, and interesting panel discussions. Pre-conference activities, which will be held October 26, include an Endowment Training Workshop and a Black Business in Philanthropy Award Reception. Conference sessions will include Collaborative Giving; Racial, Ethnic and Tribal Philanthropy; Faith-Based Philanthropy/Hurricane Katrina; Women in Philanthropy; Unexplored Philanthropists: HBCU Alumni and Their Respective Alumni Associations, Students and Their Parents and Other Supporters; Emerging Leadership in Philanthropy; and Black Business in Philanthropy.
