Is it appropriate to include in a letter of resignation the reason(s) you're leaving? If so how do I tactfully say "I don't like your management style?

As tempting as it might be, DON'T DO IT!!!! Don't use this time to write the best letter you will ever regret.

The shorter the better. State your intention to pursue other professional opportunities

State your appreciation for the opportunity to have worked at XYZ. Wish them well. Sign it and leave it alone.

After settling down and read all of your comments I realize you are all right. Anger just came into play and I really want to go off....I will however list what I brought to the agency which I know they will continue to use as they are now.

and whatever you do, do NOT quit a job that is about to give you a severance package. Get the package, take a few weeks off and then go to your new gig.
