DIM, good to hear that you're an entrepreneur. In my experience (in the past), dealing with construction contractors can be a trying experience. I don't know if anything has changed, but some them are notorious about making timely payments- to anyone. Subs, building supply companies, vendors, etc. My best advice to you is to talk to folks like the outside contract sales managers at Home Depot, Lowe's, or 84 Lumber, or talk to some of the the subcontractors on site about reputable general contractors that you may want to hook up with. Also, have you registered as a Minority Business owner with the state/county?? _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ "If you’re a Republican running for president of the United States and the Wall Street Journal basically says you’re an incompetent buffoon, you’re in serious trouble." -Jack Cafferty WSJ
