I purchased a Nintendo Wii last Sunday morning from ToysRUs at Stone Crest Mall in Lithonia, GA. It was the first console game that I ever purchased. No, I did not camp out.
 I stood in line only 30 minutes.The Wii was supposed to be a birthday gift for my daughter but after setting it up and playing a few Wii Sports games like boxing and bowling it became a gift to the household My entire family enjoys playing the Wii. Someone in my household, there are only three of us excluding my three clown fish, got so involved playing the Wii that they put an inch long surface level scratch on my new 40" 1080P LCD HDTV screen.  The scratch is barely noticeable but I told everyone to not get carried away and hit the TV. You know a brother had to hide the controllers. My wife said that she did not do it and my daughter has been slow to confess. My baby girl does not like to disappoint her father. I told her that no one can play with the Wii until I get a confession. I'm certain that one will be forthcoming this evening when I return home. The Wii is family friendly. I'm gonna buy this for my girlfriend soon, I like prices in comparison to the Xbox 360 and PS3, its pretty cheap. But I wanna know what comes in the package because I can't seem to find out anywhere

TechRattler-Nintendo is replacing the controller straps that wrap around the wrist. I have not experienced any problems with my strap.
Some gamers are getting carried away while playing the Wii. They are damaging their TVs and furniture. I can throw a 95 mph fastball with the flip of the wrist while other gamers act like they are on the mound in the bottom of the ninth with bases loaded. The Wii is really that much fun to play. PS3 and XBox better take notice. Memorizing 30 controller button and toggle combingations is not necessary when playing the Wii.

Geez!!!
 I was reading some of the stories from the website. People are breaking light fixtures and cutting themselves, breaking the glass on their tv's, one guy even broke his clavicle!!! (Don't EVEN ask me how THAT happened!!) Sounds like the Wii could be hazardous to your health!!! I GOTTA GET ONE!!! _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _ _  I do not suffer from insanity.....I'm enjoying every minute of it!!! |
