Since CompUSA is dying after the holidays, and people try to nix the inventory post Christmas pre-New Years, I'm trying to cash in on a laptop.

Which is the way to go? I've heard so much talk about not getting Gateway anything and a major push to get Dell and HP.

They are all about the same now! The difference is the warranty on the system. Some have.. "Inhouse" (which you drop it off somewhere like Bestbuy), "Ship off" (which you will ship it off to get it repaired.. ) and "at home" (which is the best). You may have to pay a little bit more for the "at home" service but it's worth it. BUT if you don't live in Florida, you can get a DELL with "Complete Care". Which means you can drop it, kick it or whatever and it will get repaired without any cost! So......their ya go!
