I have a HP 672C inkjet printer that makes a "knocking" noise as the print cartridge goes back and forth while printing. What causes this and what can I do about it?

hmmm. It's a HP printer.. But another one. Sorry. But check the guides that the print cartridges are sliding on. Also try removing the print cartridges and see if you are still having the clicking sound. If you do, the print carts are bad.
