I ordered the Gemsound Turntable W/USB Audio so that I can convert our albums.

You can -if you have- plug your RCA out directly into either a sound card or one of the many converters on the market. I bought a boombox with a cassette and RCA outs and converted all of my old mix tapes. Be aware that the recording will take a awhile.
