Poor customer service, ignorant sales people, long checkout lines, and a lack of selection. You can’t treat people like crap and expect to stay open.

By the way, if your local CompUSA store is not listed, then it is slated for closure: http://www.compusa.com/locations/store.asp

As you can see the DC/Alexandria, Va store is not listed – but I was there yesterday.

They seem to be still rocking in Florida...

For some reason, I love compusa. I purchased my Sony Vaio, Mac Book Pro, 1st digital camera and tons of gadgets there. I'm going to miss them but I'm going to enjoy the store closing sales.

With sites like amazon and ebay, it's a surprise they have stayed afloat this long.

Stark, what kind of deals can I expect to get there?

Compusa is moving slow on the mark downs but stuff is moving. I think they are just moving the good stuff to stores that are staying open.
