Has anyone else had trouble with the new HD DIRECTV receivers? I had to order my 4th one yesterday because the picture will become scrambled intermittently.I didn't have this trouble when I had my regular receiver, only since getting the HD receiver.About four technicians have been to my home and I've spent money having trees trimmed trying to remedy this situation, but to no avail.

Hey guys,

The problem was that component one and component two outlets on the television have shorts in them and are going bad,but the technician changed it over to HDMI and the problem has disappeared. He recommended that I contact Best Buy and get them to send the Geek Squad out to check it out.If it can't be repaired................. a new television is possibly in the works!!!! Laugh Laugh

Question...since we are talking HD receivers.

I know it is 9.99/mo. for HD programming........and you also pay for the HD receiver (unless you get ONE under a deal, which they have)..my question is:
what if you want more than one HD receiver?

Do you pay the 9.99/mo for each receiver?
or do you just pay the cost of an additional HD receiver and the 9.99/mo covers ALL HD receivers in the house?

Actually I paid $99 charge which covered all HD programing in the house on all HD receivers for a year. Picking up a receiver from Best Buy will cost you $99 but you own it. Other wise if DTV brings you one I understand you rent it.
