Has anyone ever heard of this sorority. A Sigma I know brought them to my attention. He also told me that they are our (Iota Phi Theta) sister sorority. Here is their website:

Never heard of them, but I find it hard to believe that they are the sisters to the Iota when they were founded almost 40 years apart.

I have a girlfriend who pledged Iota Phi Lambda Sorority, Inc. at Morgan in the 1980's. There used to be a chapter at Coppin in Baltimore too. This sorority is composed primarily of graduate chapters. In the 1980's they chartered 12 to 15 undergraduate chapters around the country to see if the sorority could compete with the other D9 sororities. I hate to say this, but at Morgan the sorority was composed of a lot of rejects from the D9 sororities. I am not certain if there are still chapters of this sorority at Morgan and Coppin.

Iota Phi Theta fraternity does not have any sister sorority.....

Just to educate everyone....There is only one African American Greek letter Fraternity that has a true (on paper) sister organization. The Sigma's and Zeta's. Everyone else is not really official...
