In 2005, cervical cancer survivor Tamika Felder created Tamika and Friends, Inc. and joined a movement to eradicate cervical cancer. Based in the Washington, DC metro area and serving women nationally, T&F is a leader in HPV/cervical cancer awareness and support.

In addition to raising funds, T&F is committed to educating all women about HPV and its link to cervical cancer and supporting those diagnosed with the disease. Cervical Cancer is almost ALWAYS preventable and the Beat the Clock! Walk is another way to make women in the community aware of that fact.

Beat the Clock! Walk, on May 19, 2007, is a first for T&F and a first for the cervical cancer community. This walk helps raise awareness about cervical health and important screenings to prevent cervical cancer.

Reminder: Registration must be postmarked and mailed by Monday, May 7th to participate in the Walk. Watch out for my team "Sista's That Care".
