If you don't mind me asking, how old are you?
If you're in your early 20's, you could be like I was at that age - HIGH METABOLISM.

I would stuff my gutts and wouldn't gain a pound...UNTIL I hit my late 20's.

then my metabolism slowed down.

BULK UP on your carbs, potatoes, rice, etc. But continue to work out.

"Trying to gain weight..?"

Folow me around, and do what I do. Laugh

I'm just kidding, I keep myself in great shape. But yeah, go heavy on the starches. But like someone else said, it can either be high metabolism or just genetics. I have some partners who eat any and everything and do gain a pound.

I'm the same way. I literally eat all day and lift weight but no weight. I'm muscular but not bulky.

Back in the old Howard days, I had a friend who was slight. She would try and try to gain weight with no success. Even to this day, 10 years later, she still is not at a weight that she wants and I think that she has given up on trying.

Anyway, she would mention her efforts to gain weight to her friends and they would give her the same old “why would you want to do that” response. After awhile she got tired of hearing it and she stopped telling people about her weight issue.

Honestly, I just don’t think that she will be able to gain more weight. On the other hand, she has never seen a doctor about her issue.

Bottom-line, maybe you should see a registered dietician or medical doctor instead of asking a bunch of folks who can’t give you an answer.

I didn't start gaining weight until I hit the 30s. I've gained about 25 pds. in the last 5 years.

Good topic Thumb Up Everybody is trying to lose weight, lose weight, lose weight, but there is a small (maybe very small these days-lol) part of the population that would like to know ways to GAIN weight healthily, unfortunately not many good suggestions for someone also like myself who has a VERY high metabolism and the slim genes.
