In order to maintian a recent weight loss, I kicked up my exercise routine. That was over a year ago. Today I have what I call the "Serena Effect' wherein my azz and body resembles that of an athlete. There's nothing wrong with that but I prefer to keep a Tyra-type curvy figure.

I need to know how to "reverse" that and how to work out for weight loss w/o gaining muscle. Any experts out there?

Hire a personal trainer. It's worth the money.

Dangit... I didn't want to have to go that route cause I didn't want to spend the Money but I figured that that was where I was headed.

No but there are lots of people up here who pretend to be experts. Why would you entrust your personal health to people on an Internet message board?

I am not a personal trainer (nor do I play one on TV), but I'd be willing to bet that whomever you hire will have you doing bunches and bunches of CARDIO type working out on a regular basis, along with some changes in your diet.

I'm pretty sure I'll be headed to a personal trainer after my visit to the cardiologist.

Cardio and crunches will help with the weight loss and toning. You've done enough with the weights, now you need to go to the other side. You'll still keep your figure, but the running, biking, and crunches will take off the excess.

When doing cardio, you have to do at least 20-25 minutes for it to have an effect. That's usually when you start a good sweat and burn. Thumb Up

I usually begin to sweat in under 10 minutes, so it'd different for everyone.
