I've seen a few people have it done. It's performed when there is a questionable prostate exam that may lead the physician to beleive a man has a risk for developing cancer.

I just found out that my PSA is 1.14 and the normal range for my age group from 0 to 3.1.
Praise God from whom all blessings flow!! Thumb Up Angel Smiler
They will still do the biopsy,however.
