Here's an easy one:

Soak in vinegar overnight then rub 1/4 cup black pepper, 1/4 cup paprika, 3 tablespoons sugar, 2 tablespoons salt, 2 teaspoons cayenne pepper. Let sit in fridge 12 hours. Put on grill 3 hours or longer (at lower temperature) depending on desired texture and tenderness.

Go by JJ's rib shack today and place your order.
Set aside 2 hours to pick your order up tomorrow.

Enjoy!

Soak 'em in coke, or Italian salad dressing, or vinegar.

Coke has too much sugar which is a no no. Salad dressing is best for poultry.

If you want tender, cook low and slow for best results.

I have had no problems using either on my beef ribs.

Thumb Up

My general rule is to put heavy sugar based products on meat toward very end of grilling because it burns more quickly or can emulsify.

But I'll try your beef ribs any day! Burger

Bandmasta why you letting the cat out of the bag on that pineapple juice. That pineapple juice on bar-b-q is where it's at. Great taste and the acid helps tenderize the meat.

Yeah, I have my ribs in foil on the grill (wrapped very loosely) and baste in the ribs with the pineapple juice too. Poke a small hole or 2 in the bottom of the foil so the juice seeps down, hits the flame, and steams back up....talk about good eatin!!!

Cook ribs away from the heat - I make my own dry rub.

I don't know. Which is better?

And on the pineapple juice. Is that along with vinegar or instead of vinegar?

Can I do the same marinade with a beef brisket?
