It gets me EVERY SINGLE TIME. I could catch the movie half way thru or right before that scene and it gets me EVERY TIME.

I will add to my list, the end of The Great Debaters. Thumb Up

There have been some good one stated thus far.

* The Cooley High Scene
* Boyz in Da Hood
* Akeelah & the Bee - where she returned the jump rope.
* That Love and Basketball scene - Classic. And that Me'Shelle song had a lot of history with me so it was very "powerful."
* The Champ Eeker Eeker - That was probably my first tearjerker movie
* Pursuit if Happyness had many scenes for me.
* Glory also had many scenes.

I dont cry when watching movies..however, if there were a movie that did get me misty in the eyes it would have been John Q. when the wife is hitting him and cussing him out asking why cant he save their son...

If I had emotions..that part of the movie right there would have jerked a tear or two.

That's mine as well.. I'm welling up thinking about it. I cried damn near that whole movie.

I also lose it big time at the end of Bridges of Madison County when Meryl Streep has her hand on the door handle daring herself to go after Clint.

Beaches, as soon as Bette starts singing "Wind Beneath My Wings"

Celie and Nettie being torn apart and their reunion.

Imitation of Life funeral scene

I tear up every time I watch the Rookie--the movie about Rays pitcher Jim Morris starring Dennis Quade. The scene that get me is when he calls his son and tells him "I going to the Major Leagues."

Don't bother. I'm not gonna put out some big list cause then I'd think about it and be too torn up to finish it. Imitiation of life is the first one on the list. After that, it's hard to go on.
