Sweetie the title of the book is "sensationalized" and doesn't speak to the content. Now as far as leaving the country, no one said you needed to per se just that why is it that black men are being scorned for doing it when black (and white) women have been doing it for YEARS!

Go read the excerpt first. No one is saying black women are irrelevant rather their attitudes towards black men and the growing need for a healthier more exciting attitude towards sex. What man wants to hear (as it is so eloquently stated in one of the blog responses) "I'm not putting that in my mouth"? In Brazil men feel free to explore their sexual fantasies with women willing to enjoin them on the escapade without DRAMA or excuses (headache, coochy ache, sore jaws, etc.). Its nothing more than the 'clean up woman scenario'. For those who aren't familiar, the clean up woman does for your man what you won't do.

The reality is that of the men that do cheat on their women more than half are driven to it because their women are uptight or prudish in the bedroom. Most women still have that high school/college mentality even after they get married where they are afraid what they do in the marital bed will become material on the campus gossip line.

I beg to differ. Going downtown was not prevalent in the West Indies during the 70s and 80s.
