HOW CAN WE GET MORE BLACK BOYS INTO COLLEGE?

What can we college educated brothers and sisters use to motivate more Black boys to aspire to attend college?
I've seen the program in South Carolina that allows Black males to go to college free if they go into education, but what else can we do to prevent the disconnect in the 3rd to 5th grade levels in elementary school?
We're broadening a program here at one of our elementary schools called the "About It" Club.A-B-O-U-T stands for ALL BOYS OF UNIQUE TALENTS and it was started by one of our Black male parapros at the elementary school level.
The local chapter of 100 Black Men of America will be mentoring these boys through the group mentoring process. We will be sponsoring and taking trips with them to HBCUs for campus tours and football games. And we will be going to various Black history museums. We have already taken them to the Rosa Parks Museum in Montgomery,Ala.We also visit the school and eat lunch with them from time to time.
There are 30 boys in the program as of this time but we hope to expand it.We will also assist boys who can't afford to purchase the tee shirts because there's a certain color tee shirt for the 4th grade members to wear and another color tee shirt for the 5th graders to wear, only on certain days of course.
If you're doing something to address this issue in your neck of the woods, let us hear from you so that we can be about the business of doing more than talking about this issue.
