The Community College of Baltimore County (CCBC) is among the most powerful providers of higher education in the state of Maryland. The Community College of Baltimore County Anticipated Fall 2008 Faculty Positions All positions, unless otherwise indicated, are full-time 10-month faculty and will be filled at the Instructor or Assistant Professor level with the following general responsibilities: Prepares, teaches and evaluates courses; seeks continual improvement in teaching methodology and student-centered learning; stays current in his/her discipline; maintains scheduled availability to students; assists in student advising; develops an individual professional development plan; participates with other faculty in developing and managing courses, curricula and academic policy; may teach at more than one campus and may teach days, evenings and weekends. Benefits: CCBC offers an excellent benefits package which includes choice of one of two Maryland State Retirement Plans (contributory and non-contributory); choice of three college subsidized health care plans (including prescription drugs), dental, vision, insurance plans for employee and eligible dependents; Employee Assistance Program for employee and family; 403 (b) supplemental retirement plans; eligibility for post retirement medical benefits; generous tuition reimbursement benefits; voluntary life, long-term disability, and accidental death and dismemberment insurances; holidays, sick and personal leave (vacation leave for 12-month faculty positions). Salary Ranges: 10-month faculty, $37,459 - $54,292 or 12-month faculty, $44,951- $65,150 CCBC invites applicants for the following positions: Biology Computer Information Systems Criminal Justice Dance Energy Services and Maintenance Technology: Instructor/Coordinator Health Informatics and Information Technology/Computer Information Systems History and Anthropology Hospitality Legal Studies Music Massage Therapy Mathematics Nursing (12-month position) Nursing Lab Manager Nursing Program Administrator Physician Assistant Graduate Program (12-month position) Physics Psychology Speech/Journalism Teacher Education: Director and Department Chair Veterinary Technician: Associate Program Director For additional details or to apply, visit www.ccbcmdjobs.com.
