He may not have said it but I will say....No, NSU can't touch the SWAC field show of our top bands...PV, JSU, SU or even bands like TxSo and Grambling on occasion. ...and no, we don't have a false sense of fame. It's real. What does NSU get invited to? You can ask any HBCU fan about the BOOM, the 100, the Jukebox, etc.... NSU's band is unheard of below Virginia except to band geeks. JSU is one of the most popular marching bbands in the nation. ...and once again, your field show is boring and your drills are remedial. Nope, TP is not gonna kiss your azz for "improving" from the trash you were. Are you girls finished rubbing each others clits? LOL...you mean to tell me you guys have done a world wide band poll, and it came back that you are a household band name? It definately must be some good weed down there in the Sipp. My advice would be to stop stroking your own egoes, and come back to reality. The truth is, your band ain't been that great since the 90's...and there is nothing you, or your lame comments can do to change that. Like I said before....how much of either of you benefitted from this great fame you have? If you are so great, why are you on ANOTHER conferences band site trying to sell yourself to us peasants? Seems like ya'll got more to prove than we do...lol. I ain't mad atcha though......movie stars...lol. Also, besides the band geeks, how popular do you guys think you are in THIS area? You are getting boring. What we have done should be a non-issue since we aren't the ones claiming the world-wide fame, but I will humor you a VERY little bit. We have done what most hbcu bands have done...parades(governors anaugural, and Miss America to name a few), nfl games, botb's, tv appearances (HBO, BET, etc). You would be surprised at what a "small-time" resume looks like...lol. However, I still haven't seen anything you have done in this millenium. Where is all this "Fame" at now? We were ranked in USA today from the 80's up until the early 90's which is a nice accomplishment considering we were a CIAA band. The only hbcu drumline to perform for Pasaic(msp) which is a national drum-corp invitational showcase. There are also clips of our drumline on the Dynasty website..check it out. But hey, those are only a few things we have done. Most people that are uneducated about certain things "assume" a band has nothing to brag about if they don't brag at all. We (NSU) let the performances brag for us, and let the haters keep hating. Unfortunately everyone is entitiled to their own opinions. If you think we are slaw...we will be that, lol. Even if the rest of the world don't share your opinion.

It was in the 2006/07 year when they came to the Scope. They had military bands from Scotland to Paris and they had MDFS do an exhibition. You don't remember hearing about that last year?
