see your ignorance continues to show, One of our most successful alumns happens to be from Florida and just happens to sit on BCU's board of trustees and it was he who made sure that both bands travel back to each school year after year, We have a dorm on campus named for him. Hampton and BCU just happens to have a very good relationship and if you want to consider The Pride as rapist, then they have raped every band in the nation because right now they are the best and admitting that has nothing to do with me have any less PRIDE in The Force.

So you say The Force got no national attention by being in NFL games where tens of thousands watch- yeah right? But again, I still don't see how the Legion has any national attention either. And since they're supposed to be this mighty, nationally known band- WHY NOT?? So basically since the Legion is so much greater than the Force supposedly, what gives? It just so happens often the Jets or Giants have a game the day after the Urban League Classic, Hampton plays at the game- it makes sense. As many battle of the bands competitions that the Legion plays in, and rehearsing the same shows over and over to perfection, there's no time for anything else.

The Force like mostly any HBCU band is a talented marching band, they march, drill, play, dance, learn music, learn several songs, practice and play well. So, lets not be ridiculously hateful and let our band pride cause us to believe that because our band marches stiff like robots and is stiffly conservative in the stands and field, have flag boys and plays battle epics and maybe popular on certain websites, that other bands are not talented. Thanks.

You keep bragging on the fact that HIU did some NFL games. Big deal; whup de doo; what college band hasn't done a NFL game? 90% percent of college bands (HBCU and PWC) have done NFL half-times; been there done that. That is nothing to bragg about. Now you talk about the NFL providing the Force National exposure. Now ask yourself: is this positive exposure or negative exposure. LOL All of us in the band world know the answer to this question. LOL If exposure is all a band needs to be good; (using your logic) then the Force should be a top tier band; since your football team is nationally recognized, but reality is YOUR NOT LOL. The Force is a very medicore band; everyone in the band world agrees with this. If someone offered me a full 4 year scholarship and a BMW 5 series to march in the Force; I would turn it down. Who wants to march for a train wreck like the Force.

Man get your facts straight.Aint no damn 90% of college bands have marched in an NFL halftime.

But how many have done it for the Super Bowl?
