Why not? Your team just got lucky in not having to face JSU in the Heritage Bowl this year. That would have been quite an reward to get drug all over ATL just for having a good season (in MEAC terms)....LOL

After the way JSU bent over(with no vaseline nor KY jelly, I might add! ) for Delta State last season, I don't think the SPARTANS of NSU would have been too worried about the Tiggers of JSU! Now please keep in mind that you Tigger alumni stated before the JSU-Delta State game that this game was supposed to be a warm up game for your championship run for 2007!

Furthermore, why should we play a top 25 D2 football team, when we could schedule an FBS school instead?

Some of ya'll are so stupid and slow. You schedule a D2 school for the same reason 1-A schools schedule 1-AA schools. However, you have to have a fan base to do this. You can invite a 1-AA school there but you will lose money the next year by going to their place. Whereas playing a D2 at home every year is a money maker.
