I would too, I love Walter Payton. BUT, Jay wasn't no slouch, put Jay and Howard in the SWAC and he'd rewrite SWAC history as he cut HOLES into those soft zones you play there. If you're not willing to recognize that much then you're either blind, young or stupid. I'm leaning towards number 3 actually.

Howard has its OWN legacy that's not connected to Athletics. I'm cool with that. I can also accept that J-State has MORE athletic prestige, not going to argue that either. BUT the problem that ALL you swackers fail to recognized that ALOT of that is past accomplishment. Even with our lack of athletic success we have two guys drafted into the NFL (can't remember the LAST Tiggers that got drafted) and we had a guy play in the Super Bowl (back to back years) AND in the Pro Bowl, not bad for a school with no athletic prestige.

You idiots from the sWACK keep on throwing these names from the past out like somebody from the MEAC discredit them. I never discredited Walter.

BUT for a team with so much talent and such a great coach, aren't a tad bit embarrassed to be HAMMERED (and I saw the game, it wasn't even close) by a D2 team ON YOUR OWN FIELD?
