Just so ya'll know, our front 4 is so dominant that we really don't blitz a lot or play LB's close to the line. When you have a line like that, only good things can happen!

http://www.clarionledger.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=...30101/808130327/1073

"I feel sorry for teams, really," Benard said about the JSU pass rush off the ends. "Sam, he's a lot faster this year. A lot leaner. It's going to be tragic for a lot of quarterbacks."

Benard isn't the only one who has noticed a stark difference in Washington.

The 6-foot-4, 265-pound McClain High graduate started two games and played 11 during the 2007 Southwestern Athletic Conference championship season. He was the primary backup to Daniel Brooks and finished with 32 tackles and 2.5 sacks as a sophomore. But he never looked as dominant as Benard or Brooks - even though a Washington safety on first down sealed a 32-26 win over Southern University with 1:03 left last year.

Then came the spring.

Washington looked virtually unblockable during spring practices and might be having a better training camp. He has thrown himself into the grueling conditioning program run by strength and conditioning coordinator Derek Scott and has fallen in love with resistance bands, a staple of Dallas Cowboys receiver Terrell Owens' training regimen.

The results could be nightmares and terrorizing flashbacks for opposing left tackles.

"Sam gave himself a new nickname - V-12," JSU coach Rick Comegy said. "I assume that's supposed to be a car because they're always revving up the engine around here.

"When you're strong, you have confidence."

Actually, it was. Delta State could not move the ball on JSU. The ONLY reason they had more than 150 yards on the day is that they kept the ball all game long becasue our offense could not move the ball.

Blueblood, this is NOT the smack "bored". Same goes for all of you laughing at LAME jokes. sheesh!

YOur sorry offense dayum sho would not have moved the ball vs them. They have a great defense but not so great of an offense...although they did drop like 50 on the CIAA champs. Against JSU, they scored TDs on THREE turnovers. JSU coaches did not have film on them and it took them 3 quarters to put together an offensive gameplan. BY then it was too late.

They rushed for 184 yards and controlled the clock for over 30 minutes.

They also turned the ball over three times in that game as well. The sooner you admit that the Okra tore you a new one, the better you will feel about it. Continuing to deny that they tap that azz doesn't help you recover TP.

ANY decent coach would've found film on these guys. You need to stop that TP. That turnover excuse stinks too because any decent team will make u pay for turning the ball over. Now explain to the board WHY JSU couldn't convert on the 3 turnovers that Delta State had?

YOU DON'T DEVELOP A GAMEPLAN FOR A TEAM IN THE 3RD QUARTER? ANY COACH will tell you that. If he doesn't then I feel bad for him. Are you high when you log on to this message board son?

If Comegy is HALF the coach you pump him up to be then there's NO EXCUSE for not being prepared for a D2 team. NON, ZERO, NADA! Saying all of that TP really doesn't b
